Can I Open a Custodial Account for a Minor?

Due to legal, regulatory, and other restrictions, it is currently not possible to open or support accounts for minors, including custodial accounts.

From a compliance perspective, opening a custodial account for a minor is not permitted.

Minors do not have the legal capacity to enter into binding financial agreements, and regulatory requirements stipulate that clients must be legally eligible to own and manage an account.
